Optical bonding expertise and enhanced formulations

Optical bonding of LCD, OLED and MicroLED displays is a core FPD.DEV expertise. We develop materials and processes around the complete display stack, coatings, bond-line thickness and optical requirements.

FPD.DEV enhancement development extends outside the original manufacturer’s specifications. Manufacturer data apply to the unmodified base material under the stated conditions. Modified formulations have their own identity, mixing instructions and test basis; manufacturer performance claims and approvals do not transfer automatically.

Custom repackaging alone does not change the chemistry. Display compatibility, cure, adhesion, clarity and stability are evaluated for the selected formulation and assembly.

For optically clear platinum-cure silicone systems, we can develop compatible catalyst, adhesion-promoter, crosslinker and retarder additions. Enhancements are typically blended into a suitable Part A or Part B component, with concentration, placement and final optical clarity established by testing.
