Define the viewing area, outside dimensions, thickness, edge finish, corner radii, holes and mounting clearances. Glass type and any strengthening process must suit the assembly and service environment.

Reduce distracting surface reflections while protecting the display. Select anti-reflection cover glass, the mechanical design and the optical stack together—from cut-to-size glass to a custom front window.
Define the viewing area, outside dimensions, thickness, edge finish, corner radii, holes and mounting clearances. Glass type and any strengthening process must suit the assembly and service environment.
Choose single- or double-sided AR, the visible wavelength band and viewing angles. Review residual reflection color, haze, cleaning resistance and any black-mask printing or surface finish.
Account for touch sensing, heater and shielding layers, adhesives, seals and mounting stress. Prototype the complete stack under the lighting and viewing conditions your users will encounter.
A thin-film AR stack uses optical interference to reduce reflected light over a designed spectral band. It is different from anti-glare texture, which spreads reflections and can change haze and image sharpness.
An untreated air-to-glass surface with refractive index near 1.5 reflects approximately 4% at normal incidence. That is a single-interface estimate, not a complete display reflection specification.
Explore AR technology and reference curves →Optical bonding replaces the air gap between rigid surfaces with an optical material. Choose the inner coating for the actual bonding medium; a coating optimized for air may behave differently when bonded.
Lamination attaches a flexible layer, such as an AR film on PET. Glass coatings and flexible films provide different mechanical and processing options.
Review optical bonding and lamination →Explore custom covers, cut-to-size material and coated sheets. Final dimensions, coating orientation and processing are confirmed during review.
Define the front window around your display, enclosure and optical requirements.
Single-sided AR soda-lime glass for a drawing-defined cover or development build.
Single-side coated glass; review the surface orientation and integration requirements.
We can help define the glass and coating route, evaluate samples and plan integration. Selection and qualification apply to the complete assembly.
